Archaeology - "Troy and Rome" Exhibition at the Colosseum (All week 12/06-18/10): A massive exhibition has just opened at the Parco Archeologico del Colosseo. Over 300 ancient masterpieces, many displayed in Italy for the very first time, retrace the legendary ties between Troy and the birth of Rome. The tour features a monumental replica of the Trojan Horse. Advance booking required.
European Archaeology Days (12-14/06): A special weekend for history lovers. The Museo Nazionale Romano, the Pantheon, and Castel Sant'Angelo will host special guided tours, extraordinary openings, and historical reenactments.
Food & Wine - "Hortus Vini" at the Botanical Garden (June 12-14): Taste the best native Italian wines at the Orto Botanico di Roma in Trastevere. The gardens light up at night for an exclusive open-air wine tasting experience surrounded by rare plants.
River Festival - Lungo il Tevere Roma (All week 5/06-30/08): The banks of the Tiber River come alive! From Ponte Sublicio to Ponte Sisto, enjoy miles of cultural booths, street food trucks, and small craft shops. It’s the ultimate Roman summer experience at dusk.
Open-Air Cinema at San Cosimato (10/06-12/07): Grab a gelato and head to the heart of Trastevere for free movie screenings under the stars, surrounded by an authentic local vibe.
💡 Babbo’s Tip: June days are getting warm. We suggest visiting archaeological sites early in the morning and escaping to the shady, breezy Renaissance gardens of Villa d'Este in Tivoli for the afternoon.
